Book Kaleidoscope 2012 - Favorite Books

My Top Five Favorite Books! I've read about 115 books this year, so there are more than five books. But I'll just pick which ones can make me think about them all day. ;) Find out more about Book Kaleidoscope here!

5. Cath Crowley's Graffiti Moon

I really love this book! I love how Cath Crowley gave Lucy and Ed different 'voices' but yet I could still relate to them!

4. Brian Selznick's The Invention of Hugo Cabret

Love the story about Hugo, and love the illustrations. Too bad I was borrowing this book at the library... I still want to re-read. x)

3. John Green's The Fault in Our Stars

Isn't it predictable? =)) Yes, I love The Fault in Our Stars. I've known John Green before this one came out, but never got a chance to read his books because I'd never found one here... until TFiOS came out. It's really hard to talk about books you love, because you know you'll never find the right words.

2. J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit

Err, I couldn't find the right words to describe how much I love The Hobbit. But I'm pretty sure it must be the way J.R.R. Tolkien wrote about Bilbo, or about the dwarfs and Gandalf, or about the adventures they experienced. XD

1. Kathryn Stockett's The Help

I've read this book twice. The first time I read it was in 2011, I borrowed it from my friend. And the second time, I read it for school. It still gave me the feeling I had like the first time. I remember I asked myself if I dared enough to continue... And when it was finished, all I could do was stare at the book, holding it to my chest and weeping silently.

Now, that was my favorite books for this year. What about you? :)
