Review:

Dear Charlie,

Why is it so hard to review a book you love?

So I just finished this book named The Perks of Being a Wallflower a couple days ago. I had mid-term exams and I just needed to read some book after studying biology and math. (Who needs to find an x in real life, seriously?)

I'm sorry. You don't know me and you don't know why I'd write you. I'm a senior in a high school in some country you probably have heard but never coming to, even for a vacation.

And, about the book. Do you know what that book is about? It's about you, Charlie. It's about letters you had written.

"He's something, isn't he? He's a wallflower."

You remember who said that?

"You see things. You keep quiet about them. And you understand."

I've read your letters and thought that I wasn't alone. I am not alone. And you should know, Charlie, that you also are not alone. We've felt that. Being a teenager is never easy, especially in high school.

I don't know if I'm also a wallflower, but you reminded me of my best friend. She sees a lot of things and understands. And she only tells me. I hoped when I finished reading this book, I'd understand her better.

And I found it hard to write you back, Charlie. I don't know why. Probably because we never meet? And you don't have any idea about me, do you? But I know you, Charlie, from those letters you'd written.

I just hope you're okay, Charlie. I just hope that with friends and sister leaving for college, and an unrequited love, and high school, nothing bad happened to you.

"I don't know what's wrong with me. It's like all I can do is keep writing this gibberish to keep from breaking apart."

Love always,
Aul.

P. S: If you're wondering how to pronounce my name, it's Owl.
